Anyone else here switched to paragard? How's it working for you??? Thanks!
I have paragard and its great. I really like it. The only minor problem is that it makes your periods heavier and longer. But thats not that much of a probem for me because i know i am protected from pregnancy for up to 10 years. I also dont have to worry about having to take pills or inserting a ring once a month or putting on a patch once a week. You also dont feel it at all. Its been inserted and now i am carefree.

I switched from Mirena to Paraguard about 6 months ago and I feel like a totally different person. The only drawback is that sometimes my pre-menstrual symptoms seem a little severe and the occasional spotting can get annoying. Compared to the hormonal option though it's a frweaking breeze!
DONT!!!!! Try anything but Paragaurd! I got preg on it and they couldnt remove it with out causeing a miscarriage I was 15weeks along when I knew something was wrong and went to the hospital! Our little girl had no heart beat and they couldnt find the stupid thing after I delivered her they found it in her head!! It was awful!! They need to take the stupid stuff off the market! Babies have been born with them imbeded in their legs, arms, and chest!
