My name is Jasmine, I was born in Okinawa, Japan. Both parents were in the Military (Air Force). However, my mother stayed in for 14years with reserves. She is now a retired, disabled, veteran. I have learned so much from her in my young years of being branched overseas and the many culture experience I encountered. I now live in Wisconsin and I have two boys of my own. My child-rearing has been impacted by the type of regiment I received as a child and I based my morals and values, as well as my culture and ethnicity (African American and Mexican). I don't do get into much of the 'white-glove' or 'the coin test' off of their bed...it is more about how I want them to see the world and people in it with open eyes.
