Sounds like fun! I might be interested in it if it's still going on in a couple of months. Our schedule has us too busy the next month or so but I might look into it more after that.

This has been going on for almost 2 years now, so it will be around in a few months. What area of Georgia do you live in?

Fairburn! I am jealous! We go to the Georgia Renaissance Festival every year, lol. I live in Dalton, which is 90 miles north of Atlanta. However, we still need to do Panola Mountain, Chattahoochee Bend, Little White House, and FDR State park. I have a 7 year old boy.

We are around your area about 3-4 times a year. We are going to the Chattahoochee Nature Center next month.
Yeah, I love the Renaissance Festival! My parents actually live less than 1/2 a mile from the where that's held. I live about 3 miles from it. Also, my uncle works at it every year.
I really want to go all those places too! My sister and I talk about those parks but have yet to make any definite plans. My sister has a six year old boy and a three year old boy too. You should let me know when you make plans to go to some of those on the south side and I would love to see if we could make it at the same time. I would even be interested in some in North Georgia too!
My sister, my best friend Sarah and I have been tossing around the idea of starting some sort of mom's group where we plan things like days at state parks and invite all the mom's with kids we know. Even if we just try out some different playgrounds around metro Atlanta it would be fun! While my sister lives in Fairburn too, my friend Sarah lives in Kennesaw so we are always traveling up there too.
