About No Nonsense VBAC

This is a no-nonsense group for women who would like to learn more about VBAC ( Vaginal Birth After Cesarean ) and aren't going to feel attacked by truth. If you would like hardcore facts, evidence-based research, and the experience of both a HBAC ( Home Birth After Cesarean ) mom and aTraditional Midwife who attends VBACs regularly...then this is the group for you. I will help you understand why the first cesarean happened to begin with, what you can do to avoid the same the next time around, and offer local resources.

There's no hiding that I am pro-natural birth ( and I don't just mean pushing a baby out of your vagina ) because it's safest for baby, and healthiest for mom. So if you come here and think you'll not be challenged if you say you want an epidural, this probably isn't the group for you. The information that I post is from evidence-based studies, not personal opinion. Women have been giving birth for centuries....without intervention. Be prepared to have your beliefs challenged.
