This is the pom pom yarn on size 13 needles - and one stitch per thread section - 6 stitches in each row

this is the same yarn - on a size 4 needle with two stitches per thread section - and still 6 stitches per row 

this is a side project from my sweater - we went someplace yesterday - and I didn't get my knitting bag out of the boyfriends car - so had to have something to knit today - they are both just the basic garter stitch
