good morning ladies i don't know what today will bring except my order from the drugstore with cough and decongestant syrup for diabetics, a prescription and other goods to help give me relief for whatever i have. LOL

yesterday i watched mikey from the crochet crowd to an old fashioned rippled fan stitch.  it is quite amazing since 6 rows equals 4".  i followed along with the video and i am now making a crocheted scarf. LOL so i hope to work on it sometime today.

have a great day ladies.

I've got a date to buy a new TV today. I have no idea what else after that. Bob is doing his laundry. And I need to figure out something for dinner, but have no ideas!

Good morning. I am off to work shortly and must admit to thoroughly enjoy working with my sons. Ren and Jay are exceptional young men. Ren is so natural with the children that there has been suggestions and encouragement for him to train as a teacher. Jay is painting a mural on the fence bordering the infants play area. The fence is looking stunningly beautiful and will be admired for a long time.

The cold/allergy has past and now I am looking less like a close relation of Rudolph. Stress levels at home are reducing, and after this weekend there is another week of having the boys here before they return to Auckland. Stan has received his appointment for cardiology and so he will be seeing the specialist in early February. I told him he appeared to be frightened, angry and grieving. He told me I was wrong but his mood has elevated since then and maybe he realises I know him well.

So here's to a great day. Stay warm and safe and I will do my best to stay out of the sun.

ruth, so happy to hear you're having all this time with your sons. and they are so talented.  Men are funny, I'm sure you're right about Stan's feelings, but they cannot seem to express their emotions.  I knew Joe was anxious and nervous about his retirement, both the ceremony and the adjustment to different pay dates and much more free time.  He finally admitted he was-but it was like pulling teeth!!!  Glad to hear he has an appointment.

cynthia, I hope the flu leaves you soon, it's tough to feel lousy for such a long time.

Wooly, hope you got your TV--and that you're settling into the apartment.

Trying not to go 50 shades of psycho on DH. When you want something bad enough, you ask EVERYONE you know for help if you need it. Not just dad.

Cynthia that is just the picture for me.  Looks like my street growing up. & I can let my imagination run wild as to where it will lead.  A hall in FL  had a corner stage witha mural painted on the side walls with the podium in the middle it was beautiful.  Thanks for sharing.

Well I must feel better.  I actually slept in bed instead of in my chair... That is until 6 when Monk decided I should get up.  He ran up & down me meowing his loud meow!  But I was so tired I almost fell asleep twice at the dentist.  First while waiting to be called then while waiting in the chair.  I had to have my denture relived.  You would not believe the smell, the taste or the wait.  He told me it would clean my sinuses... It did.  Then it feels like it is burning but it's not.  I had to push it up & hold until it set.  At the end I was gagging & ready to pull it out.  So afraid I'd swallow some... I drooled worse that a teething baby.  But it was completed in under 20 minutes & now I don't have to worry

i did very little knitting since I was so sleepy.

i,hope you ladies feel better today & more better tomorrow
