Question for the lurkers

What is your reason for just lurking in the group?  I know when I first started out I was afraid that I had to post something great and full of all kinds of knowledge etc, or I was afraid of sounding stupid.  I am curious with this group because there are quite a few that lurk

I wouldn't consider myself a lurker. I may not be the most active in the group. But the few times I poke my head in I always make an effort to post or comment on something. I'm just a really busy mom right now. Since August I've started my senior year at school on campus, the first week of September I threw my back out and was unable to move, then the week following I twisted my ankle falling down the stairs at school, two weeks later I found out that I am pregnant with baby #3, I made the mistake of taking 15 credits this semester but then I didn't know I was going to be pregnant through all of it either. SO life just is really crazy right now, but I do try to contribute when i can.

I joined when I was pregnant and looking for a homebirth with a midwife.  I became less active after birth, but check in every now and again to see if someone has posted something interesting or if I could help another mom with something I went through.

Same here on that part. I can help with how to have a drug free hospital birth but I'm no help on VBAC or homebirths. I answer when I can.

I don't comment to much, I mainly read the posts. The main reason is because i successfully had a med free brith at a hospital but don't really feel like i have the expertise or experience to guide other moms. Now ask me a question on Breastfeeding or Car seats and i got you covered. lolz. I learn more from this group then i would be able to add. I also am not expecting or planning on another one any time soon.
