this is my 4th baby. the contractions i am having this evening are very different from ones i have had before. my entire stomache is tightening but the pain is all in my upper abdomen. previous ones have been lower abdomen and felt like cramps. all of my braxton hicks this pregnancy have been in my lower abdomen as well. could these be real contractions even though they feel so different? it feels like the cramps you get if you have the stomache flu.

I don't want to venture a guess but want to say my 4th labor was wicked different than my other 3. My midwife says they joke about the 4th one bucking the trend. For me, I always felt them more low, that grinding crampiness.
