HypnoBabies

I am a Military wife and will be delivering with a doctor I didn't choose at a hospital I didn't choose, but the one thing I feel like I can choose is HOW I will deliver.

I decided I wanted to go Med Free, and since the military town I live in is so far from civilization there aren't any alternative birthing classes. I downloaded hypnobabies CDs and have started listening to them. I was wondering if I wont get the full experience or if it possibly won't work for me because I don't have the books and scripts and whole 9 yards.

Has anyone else used HypnoBabies? How did it work for you?

Well from my experience it will help but I definitely didn't get everything I could have out if it because I didn't do the whole class. That doesn't mean you will have the same but I just didn't do it everyday etc... I was able to manage the pain and even transform it somewhat to be just positive pressure especially with my second birth. I was not however able to have the pain free birth it talks about.

i haven't used hypnobabies but if you want to deliver med-free, just having a good mindset will be enough

Without following the program as designed or getting 'the whole 9 yards' you aren't really doing Hypnobabies. To get all of the wonderful benefits of an easier, more comfortable birth go ahead and commit to the Home Study, or better yet- attend a live class. And don't forget your doula! Best wishes, Nicole

IMO the workbook was a MUST have for me!! It has so much valuble info and also techniques are xplained in the book that they tell you to use in some of the cds that they dont explain but you are told to do yourself... id order the workbook.
