I don't actually have anything to hold or to look at.  When the pain gets really bad I actually tap the side of my bed and breath in and out while I move my head up and down and side to side.  YEP....LOL  all at the same time.  That's my focus tool.  :)  What do you ladies do or use?

I used my belly button. I'd just look down at my belly and shut everything out.

During my second birth I had a birth necklace that I made with beads sent to me by mother's with the same due month as me. I also used DH a lot as my focal point. During my first birth I honestly didn't have a focal point.

Whatever pops in there, instinctively.

I've meditated on a dragonfly that hovered, focuses on circles (watch face, door knob, sink drain, a picture of an O I drew on paper in case I didn't have a circle, lol)...

I was chanting "oooooOOOOOO!!   Oooooo-pen!"
So maybe I was talking to my cervix...
?
