wow i think this is the longest ive been pregnant lol. you would have thought my first baby would have been the 40 weeker. then again makes me wonder if while i was getting vaginal exams if my doctors were stripping my membranes or something. cuz here i am, only had a little abdominal pain yesterday morning but still nothing you would call contractions. and even more so with all the physical activity of packing and moving and climbing stairs repeatedly, its really a curious thing to me.  but any whos. figured i would update you ladies. aint been on in a few days ^_^

my 4th baby was my longest pregnancy.... 41wks! my first were twins that i had at 28wks then i had my son at 38wks (after weeks of preterm stuff) so i never thought id ever make it to 40wks let alone 41!

My first only went to 38 weeks 1 day. My second went all the way to 40 weeks 5 days! I Those last 2 1/2 weeks seemed to last MONTHS. I'm sure it'll be soon now!

May I ask you why you haven't seen a doctor since 32 weeks?

the dr i was seeing in savannah ga when we moved here was a total biotch and the birth center i was supposed to be going to after that kept giving us the run around and at like 36 weeks decided oh ur too far along for us to see you when the nite we went up there at 32 weeks the lady said she had just seen a girl for one appt and she went into labor who also lived a few hrs away. and by then no other dr wanted to take me. we called over 6 obs. and nothing. so we decided on a home birth.

some people have situations where they cant get seen after a certain time or they choose to go unassissted, etc. for my pregnancy i didnt see the ob after 16wks but saw the maternal fetal specialist (i had a shortening cervix at 15wks nad past preemie issues) like 5 times (supposed to have appts every 4wks) but i stopped at 32wks and never saw another doctor or midwife after that. I had my daughter at home unassisted at 41wks.  Its called an unssisted pregnancy and unassisted childbirth or UP/UC and theres a few moms in this group doing or have done that and quite a few moms on CM who do this as well. Doctors arent for everyone.
