for a baby (EBF) with acid reflux? Do you give the proscription meds?

my dd has it sence she was little she is now 3 and i only give her meds when she complains about it. i had to give rher meds for a month straight.

We did for a few weeks but the meds didnt help so I decided to stop them instead of upping the dose. I do understand though that while LO had it bad, some babies have it worse and HAVE to use medicine. Some things we did was nurse him upright, burp more often, let him sit up 30-45m after nursing, pay attention to my diet(I realized that OJ and a few other things seemed to aggravate the AR). Also if you have forceful letdown maybe pump a little or hand express before nursing. I wish you the best, AR can be stressful.
