Hi I'm nikki, 27 on my 3rd pregnancy. i have a six year old, and a two year old, both girls. with my first child, i was kinda of naive on what obs and nurses' jobs really were and ended up with an epi, but considering how things could have went, it wasn't all that terrible. with my second, i had a great midwife and wonderful birth exp, i'm hoping to emulate that with this current pregnancy. my first i nursed for 2 years, the second is still nursing (29 months) i also did baby led weaning with her as a food introduction. all things i plan on doing with number 3. i also cloth diaper and do my best towards "green" (i hate that term) living. I am an avid gardener, homesteader, cook, baker, crafter (i run a small etsy shop) i love to sew! i also live in columbus, Oh.

Hi ladies!  I am mommy to four little ones ages 8 and under and expecting our 5th in early Summer.  I have birthed in a hospital, birth center and at home.  We enjoy cosleeping, cloth diapering our babies, babywearing and breastfeeding and enjoy meeting mamas with the same interests and lifestyles :)

Hello, my name is Michelle. This is my second pregnancy. The last time I was pregnant was in 2001. I'm looking forward to having a natural birth. I'm 12 weeks along.

I am a SAHM to a 26mo boy and a 13mo boy. And, I am currently 24wks1day with our first baby girl. My first son was supposed to be a natural, water birth. But, we ended up with an emergency c. Our second, I was ill informed and had a scheduled c. But, our 3rd is a planned waterbirth unassisted at home. We KNOW we can do this. :) We cloth diaper and both of my boys recieved breastmilk for some legnth of time. I'm not a SUPER crunchy mama, but I would love to be more. <3

Hi, I'm Charity. I'm a SAHM to 3 boys (5, 3 & 15.5 months) & expecting baby #4 the end of May/beginning of June. I have yet to have the birth experience that I'm looking for, though my last one was the closest I've come yet. But it still left something to be desired. I really feel like homebirth is going to give me that experience. My midwife choices are very limited & I don't feel satisfied with either of my 2 options. I'm currently seeing an OB, only because I had a severe infection that needed treated & I've just kind of stayed there for lack of knowing what else to do. I've been planning to just show up at the hospital pushing, basically, but even that involves much more intervention (& fighting) than I'd like - ie. no vitamin k, no eye drops, no iv, etc. I'm thinking now of being prepared for an unassisted childbirth and deciding at the last moment how I feel about it all. Not sure exactly what we'll end up doing, but trying to educate myself & know all of my options.
