Formula or CIO?

Say you HAD to choose to do one one, which do you think is worse for baby? Formula feeding or you HAVE to sleep train your baby starting at 3-4 months (since it seems like that's when most people start)

formula feeding, we just waited til jayden started sleeping thru the night at 6 months and then we started putting him in his crib tired and he just went to sleep without crying, so hearing him cry would be much harder then formula feeding

Ugh as much as it pains me to say I'd pick formula. CIO just creates such a distance and breaks attachments. At least with formula you could still feed with love. This is super hard though! I hate formula LOL
