My 2 youngest girls are 5 and 22 mo. They share a room but have seperate beds. My 5yr old has a twin and 22 mo. old has a toddler bed but sleeps with me & dh 95% of the time.
I am looking to gently transition the 22 mo old out of my bed and into her own. I am considering getting a double bed for the 2 youngest girls to share. They like to snuggle a lot and my youngest sleeps longer next to her sister (almost like she does in my bed).
How do you feel about siblings bed sharing? Does this seem like a good idea?

Awww, I loved snuggling my baby sister :-) Even when I got older and was annoyed and told her no, I'd always feel bad and tell her to come snuggle anyway!

I was raised doing so in a queen bed....if I have a girl, I expect I may put the together at some point.
my only concern is flu season and them puking on each other.

I think it's a good idea. I'm actually getting ready to get my two girls, 9 & 4, a queen sized bed to share. They are excited. More space for wild sleepers, new sheets & comforters...yeah, I'm excited too.

Ive never had to share a bed with my brother who is 16 months older than me. I dont like sharing beds now as an adult. Lol. I would never have my kids share a bed. Now if they did so on their own..eh. Lol.

I hesitate to say no one in my house has ever had the flu! (16 years of raising kids)

I think it's a great idea it might help them bond as they get older. My mom always did that with my aunt so to me that seems like a normal sleeping arrangment.
