What is your parenting pet peeve?

Everyone has one..you know that trigger that just could kill a friendship, that may seem petty to some people but you just can't handle it.  Does it have to do with birth, babies, parenting in general?

Parents who refuse to educate themselves. You want to vacc... Fine! But do your research first before you judge and ridicule me. I've lost plenty of friends who would call me crazy for.some of my natural choices... But would refuse to educate themselves on the topic. That in my opinion in crazy.

This. I have not lost friends (from my point anyway it's always been their choice) over anything I do or believe but I think if they flat out refused to research and still defended their actions and ridiculed mine that would be it.

I think ignorance, a belief that their doctor is a god, and unwillingness to educate themselves is really what bothers me the most.

I guess people that don't educate themselves. We could do things differently but, to know they made those choices without educating themselves first would be hard.

This entirely! I can't stand the "my dr told me this, therefore its law" mentality. Whenever I heard the line "my dr told me..." it complete discredits the person to me

Nothing as far as parenting-I can be friends with someone who does things differently but I did lose a friend after an abortion-I later found out she had TWO to the SAME guy.  I tried to help her so much.  It just killed what we had.

People who Ignore their own children but allthey talk about is wanting to "help" me with mine when he gets here.

I'd like to take refusal to self educate, and add, in combination with shrugging their responsibility to do so and giving it to god. "They're fine FFing early, and if we get into an accident god will keep them safe."
