Cloth diapering

What is your favorite brand of cloth diaper? What is your least favorite?

How many diapers would you recommend having?

I'm 30 weeks pregnant and just starting to look into cloth diapering . Any advice would be awesome=]

I have been using fuzzi bunnz since my 9 month old was born and love them :) my aunt bought me some G pants and those are nice but the way the go together they don't catch the poo too well. I only had 6 size smalls fuzzi bunnz when Allora was born and that is all I used and did lots of laundry. I use disposable ones only at night cause the hold more. I now use the one size fits all fuzzi bunnz and still love them she has 7 one size fits all and she maybe uses 5 a day so I am still doing laundry everyday but I throw them in the wash before bed and then into the dryer in the morning and they are dry before we have to go to daycare. My daughter uses bum genius on my grandson and loves those the best of all she has tried.

I looked into those but when it came down to it fuzzi bunnz are the only ones that I can buy locally with out ordering online

I like bum genius and green mountain prefolds with wool covers.

I hated gDiapers.

When you are first buying cloth diapers I've heard that you should try out a few different brands to see which one you like . I just don't know how many diapers I should have when my daughter is born. Since I dont want to stock up on one brand of cloth diaper and not like them. I'm a tad confused .

I like pockets. I love bum genius, hated fuzzi bunz but I know they've changed a lot since I used them. I really liked g diapers too.

Motherease is my favorite.. least favorite was Kushies. I would have at least two dozen. Websites like Cotton Babies and Green Mountain Diapers are excellent resources for those who are new to cloth diapering!

I love one size pockets - the two brands i use are bum genius and kawaii. I prefer Aplix over snaps for a newborn... Better fit overall. I plan to switch to snaps when my Lo is older big right now they almost all leak because they don't fit.

I have about 20 pockets that I can use right nOw with my 3 week old and im doing laundry every other day. Covers last a lot longer since they can be used multiple times before washing.

My favorite are prefolds with Snappis and Thristies Duo Wraps. My ds is a heavy wetter and while I like the trimness and ease of pockets and AIO/AI2's he has a tendancy to leak through them. Of course this may change over time as his feeding habits change b/c right now he pretty much nurses all the time (he's 2.5wks) but covers and prefolds are pretty cost effective and smaller prefolds can be reused later to stuff pockets with. Pocket wise I like onesize Charlie Bananas and sized Fuzzibunz I also have some all in 2 WHAM's that I like. I have several other onesize diapers that he doesn't fit into yet but I am planning on sticking primarily with covers and prefolds. If u go with prefolds and covers I reccomend at least 2dzn prefolds (I like Imagine Smart Fit), at least 4 covers and at least 2 Snappis.
