So you ladies are awesome! The last recommendations I got were great so I thought I'd ask.
I need to lose ten pounds to be a healthy weight.
I want to do a juice fast or a cleanse.
Can anyone educate me. :)
just do Atkins Induction phase for 2 weeks and you will lose it. Basically just eating meat and veggies only.
Cleanses is primarily water weight loss and as soon as you start eating again, you will just gain it right back.

That is why they started the juice fast. They were fat, sick, and nealy dead. It is a very interesting film and it talks about the benefits of juicing.

Nah it is pretty self-explanatory. Just go to http://www.atkins.com/ and they even given you a food list particularly for the Induction phase!

I have a hard time believing that you are unhealthy right now but if you lost ten pounds you'd be healthy, and if that's true doing it by cutting out a few hundred calories a day and upping your exercise would be a healthier way to achieve that weight loss. Many women fluctuate 10 lbs over the course of their cycle.
Why would you have a hard time believing that?
I am 5"5 and 155-157 pounds.
I did a BMI calculator online and it said 140 pounds would make me not overweight. :)

I cleanse may or may not lose you the weight, but it is a great way to get your body on track in the right direction.
The cleanse I really like is two days raw, three days juice, two days raw. Not only will that help clean you out, but every time I do that I'm left with a desire to eat only healthy foods.
If you'd like more info let me know. In general though, you can not do a cleanse while pregnant or nursing, and if you're on meds you need to talk to a practitioner first.
