went to the midwife the other day and the pathology report from the placenta was back. The placenta was small for the third trimester and there was white blood cells present. Comparable to meconium in the fluid. But our fluid was clear when the water broke. The pathologist suggested the baby be tested for TORCH syndrome. But since shes not showing sign of infection we decided against the additional testing.
Side note at 2 weeks shes already over 6 lbs after being born 5lb 7oz

From experience I'd say the lil one was better outside. mabey your placenta was on the verge of failure and takeing her at the time was a good thing and with mine she was 5 lbs 13 ounces at 38 weeks gestation but in less than a month was 10 lbs! so sometimes its best ot get them out and let them grow outside thna to leave them and risk them suffering for it!
