i have been having contractions since around 3 am....they are just uncomfortable enough that they woke me up. i went to the bathroom and had a significant bloody show at around 6 am and the contractions feel much stronger as i am up and about walking around....they dont feel very "braxton hicks-like" anymore. i think this is it! well at least i hope it is....i was supposed to take my grandma to chinese for lunch and i canceled that and told my husband not go off site forwork today (he already has an hour drive from the shop) so something BETTER be happening because i love chinese food and my grandma lol!!! sigh....hope i didnt cancle a good day for nothing...i would way rather be hanging out with her then cleaning my house :) :) :)
send me some good labor dust for my homebirth and i will keep you updated :)
our son beau kormac was born at 4:27pm! 4 and a half hours of gentle but active labor :) he weighed 8 pounds 10 oz at birth, is 21 inches long as is a good liitle nurser!!!

thanks everyone! this is definitly labor...i had another bloody show and the contractions are getting stronger and closer together :)
i spent the whole morning cleaning my house and going grocery shopping and now i think its time for a hot shower and then a nap. i have been up since 5 am busting my butt and need to rest! thank you all for the well wishes...this group is wonderful and its very much appreciated :)
