Hi ladies I am looking for a midwife I am not satisfied with my Ob (loong story) and I didn't like the experience I got at the birthing center I checked out. Any resources would be helpful I'm 17 wks 1 day and I'd like to find someone and build a relationship. Thanks in advance mamas.

try typing in your zip code in the google search and write midwife next to it see what pops up usually a listing of midwives will surface.

I did this and found their was a hospital that had a midwife clinic located in it near by along with a birthing center and private midwifes in the area as well

Gentle Beginnings in Hurst is great, but they don't use my insurance. I was not impressed with Special Beginnings in Grand Prairie, but they accept my insurance. I am birthing in July with the midwives of UNT and have heard great things and have had great care so far.

Thank you. I wasn't impressed with Special beginnings either. Where is UNT? I will check them out too.
