Natural Birth & Parenting Natural Birth & Parenting

was reading my book from my Dr and.....

I was pleasantly surprised to read thus.

I know its hard to see since its a zoomed in and cropped mobile picture, but it has a question in the 37-40 ish Weeks about ”Can I bring on labor” and it says youll be told lots of ways to do so, and lists some off, then in bold letters says ”THEY DO NOT WORK”, be patient and let your body rest.

I LOVED seeing that!!

Yeah really! My backup Dr had lots of info on natural birth and how interventions can lead to cesareans. But typically I would never think to see that!

Quoting Mrs.Salz:

That's great! Never seen that from a doctor before!

I really love my OB. And though she may not agree with my every view point she makes me comfortable talking to her about it, discussing it and doesn't push her pov on me. Shes easy to talk to and make my discussion for ME. My old ob (though same practice, different office) wasn't really like that

Yes-  you make sense.   I do NOT approve of it, lol!    But it does work...

Quoting mommyjenn84:

We have to agree it isnt typically used responsibly, even if you do support using it and it can easily cause more problems than not. I just dont think it should be a blanket approved method and if you really want to use it, research it first. If that makes sense
