So dd has a dairy allergy and gets eczema when I've "cheated." I have had some dairy in the past few days, but she didn't have any eczema on her when I was getting her ready to go swimming.
We've been out of the pool for an hour and I just noticed that she has patches all over her legs. I know chlorine dries your skin out, but would it cause that too?

I don't know. Maybe it triggered the dairy reaction though. Have you taken her swimming before?

Oddly enough, bleach (technically bleach baths) is sometimes recommended for treating eczema. Not that I would personally recommend it, mind you.. :o) My guess would be the heat possibly worsened the eczema.

Once last year. Same pool. But I didn't notice a reaction. MIL did say that hasn't gotten the levels checked (after we had already been in).
