See what CafeMoms are saying about saving time this holiday season..
So, in a due date group a lady probably just had her water break. People are SO excited for her, and she "cannot wait for her baby to be born". I was thinking that she was probably around 37 weeks because some people in this dd group are pretty far along, so I assumed she was one of them. Nope. She is only around 34 weeks. I am sorry, but I would be in tears if my water broke that early. Honestly I feel like writing that I understand wanting baby to come, really I do. But, that is WAY too early, and I really hope it isn't her water. I can't write anything though. Most ladies believe that a baby born past 30 weeks should be A-okay because other babies have been. Well, all babies are different right? I was a 30 weeker and I was supposed to die because of all my health challenges. Granted, that was almost 30 years ago, but still!
I was just shocked that women were posting things like "Sounds like your water!!" and posting smiley faces. I just don't get it. I have a feeling as we all approach July, and even August I am going to have to stop going into my dd groups. I don't think I can handle all the induction posts.
UPDATE: Well, I posted that I hoped her water didn't break because it was too early. I didn't say anything about her being excited that baby might be born. I merely said I thought it was too early, and that I understood her being anxious about baby...but it would be better if he stayed in just a few more weeks. At 34 weeks, it's only 3 more weeks before "full-term" (whatever that's supposed to mean, lol!!). I just REALLY hope it isn't her water. I just hope that baby can stay in there a little longer. :( I have a feeling I may get bashed for my post.
