My daughter is 3 months and has a few rough, flaky, dry, and itchy looking patches in her body. I used coconut oil for a while and it did nothing, now I'm putting pure Shea butter on her. I plan on making a "bedtime" lotion for her soon with lavender and chamomile, coconut oil, shea butter, and calendula if I can figure out how to incorporate it. Im wondering if I should make her something different since the main ingredients aren't working well on their own.
I use ecosprout on our laundry, so that shouldn't bother her skin. Her bath stuff is Burt's bees or California baby depending on which one I grab. She only gets a bath every few days because she is so little and because it definetly dries out her skin more.
Is there something Im missing here? How can I get rid of it, they've got to be itchy and irritating!

I bet it is eczema. My son has it. We use gold bond ultra healing lotion. It works very well for him.

Applying breastmilk after baths might help, too.
