If there was only allowed to be one book per person in a household (minus your religious book..lol), which one would be yours?

I never read a book more than once, but my favorite is "Bastard Out of Carolina," so I guess I would choose that.

I read it in high school and, in retrospect, it was probably a bit mature for that age, but I instantly loved it! Eventually they made it into a TV movie for Showtime or something, but I've only seen parts of that.
