My dd is almost 10 months. I only know the "hug hold". She seems to big for this position and moves around a lot.

What do you do?

I have a moby wrap.
Would the side carrying postion work with the moby? Or do I really need to buy something else? Sorry, I'm still new at this. I didn't start until she was about four months and have never worn a baby before.

Back carry. Have since about 8 months. We both love it a lot more. I started with a double shoulder rebozo with my wrap and now I just have a mei tai

Back carry in the Boba most of the time for my 9 month old unless she needs to nurse. I think you need a different carrier for your LO =) An Ergo or Boba are great

I agree that you need a new carrier.  A moby is not safe in a back hold, which will probably work best for you.  If you like wraps, you can easily make a woven one, which is fine for back carries.

Quoting JoJoBean8:

Back carry in the Boba.

NONONONO!!!shoutingBack carrying with a knit fabric is very dangerous!! If my son were mad He could easily fight out of a  knit wrap, fall, and seriously injure himself. I'd rather not wear at all (and I can't imagine shopping without my mei tie or w/wrap) then back carry in a knit wrap!
