I'm at my inlaws for the week. My SIL is here too. She makes a lot of natural choices too and the two of us get along really well. My MIL is definitely pretty mainstream but supports the choices me and SIL make even if she doesn't totally understand them.
Usually, when we are at my inlaws (which is rarely because we live no where close) I relax a little about a lot of things because it's just a week and I don't want to offend my MIL. I forgot the kids' toothbrushes and needed more wipes. My MIL ran into Walmart to get some while she and DH were on their way back from something. Everything she bought, even the toothbrushes, had "natural" in the label. It was kind of like when standing their staring at all the choices she thought, "Kara buys natural things". I just thought it was sweet that she made the effort to support choices she doesn't necessarily understand because she knows it's important to me.

I feel pretty lucky. She and my FIL are just really nice people. They are really good to my husband and I and our kids. My SIL and I are super close too which is also nice.

That's awesome. My "mil" drives me crazy but we also live with her. My bf and I aren't married but she does call me her daughter in law anyway which is nice. And she loves her Grandaughter so much. But she still does a lot of things that make me wanna pull my hair out. And she's a hoarder of clothes and shoes. Our garage is full of about 500 pairs of shoes and at least 100 outfits with tags on still. And probably about 200 purses
But I know many have it worse so I try not complain too much....
