At what point would you go ahead and be induced?

Posted by   + Show Post

If you were planning a completely natural birth, at what point would you go ahead and consider an induction? Any particular induction method you would consider at an earlier point than other methods? That turning point can be a # of weeks along, sanity, health of you or baby, size of baby.....whatever it would take for *you* to consider it.

i would say for situations like IUGR or Pre-e and they couldn't control it without it. I also probably would try natural induction methods aftar about 43 weeks because the risks of stillborn/placenta failing then starts to increase slightly

ONLY if mine or my baby's life were in jeopardy. # of weeks, sanity, size of baby... those aren't emergencies to me.
