And I am going nuts!! It has been an hour and no phone call from the school. Keep in mind this is the child who said she was NOT going to school, and has had prolonged crying fits when we have talked about it. I just want her to be okay! Wonder how it will be in Sept. after baby is here and hormones are still going crazy. As soon as we walked into the house my ds2 said " I want Olivia here!" LOL! It is only until 12, but fall will be all day every day, no choice. Thank you state of MI, you are dumb and it sucks that you force our babies to grow up so fast.

I considered this, but I really think she needs structure from someone other than me, our personalities wouldn't be conducive for home schooling of any kind. :(

i just wanted to say i'm really glad that you acknowledge that your personality is not conducive to homeschooling and made the best of what was available. too many ppl fall in love with the idea of homeschooling and don't realize it is case by case situation. anyway i'm gladd your dd loves school. most kids do eventually change their minds. lol.
