natural cleaners?

I'm slowly tying to switch our house to a more natural way of life but my df is a little resistant. He won't let me put clothes on a clothesline for example. I use vinager(sp) to clean the kitchen, counters, stove, highchair, fridge ect. But what can I use to clean my bathtub and mirrors? We go shopping tomorrow and I can't spend a lot of money either. Any tips?

My dh works in refineries too. Baking soda is good for getting Coker dust off.

It gets scum out of the tub? My df works in refinerys so he comes home really dirty and the tub can get kinds gross.

Quoting xotatiannaxo:

I use vinegar for everything. I just dry it quick so it doesn't leave marks on the mirrors

for the tub and shower I like to use a mix of warm vinegar and blue dawn. I put it in a spray bottle and spray it, let it sit for a while and then rinse it and wipe any rough areas. seriously, my moms shower was nasty and BLACK and after one use it was almost perfectly clean! the smell of this is kinda strong though if you don't have windows.

Baking soda and vinegar is all we use and it works wonderfully! Half a lemon or lime also works great for scouring. Sprinkle baking soda in the tub and scrub with a lemon. So simple and cheap.
