Interviewing Dr.'s

What questions would you ask an OBGYN when interviewing? I am not pregnant but have a complicated pregnancy history. If I decide to try again I would like it to be a vba2c, all natural, no iv.s, no pelvic checks, free to move as I please and in whatever position I chose. I am open to vital signs being taken. What would you ask when looking for a new dr.?

Do you attend VBACs?  How do you feel about no IV/no cervical checks/not birthing on my back/etc?  Their c-section rate, if there are other OBs in their practice, what happens if they are not at the hospital or on call during labor.

I'm sure someone will post a complete list, but I'd ask about everything important to you.

When I interviewed my OB I listed all things I was concerned about. He told me in all his years of practice I'm his only patient who ever did that. He's been an OB for over 30 years. Good luck!

Ask their policies on all the things you have listed. Also find out the hospitals policies as well.
