Labial Adhesions natural remedy? *update

My daughter was diagnosed with adhesions at 4 months. We just had her 6 month appt and they are slightly worse. There is such a tiny hole for urine to get out that I am starting to worry about a UTI or complete closure.

I REALLY don't want to use the premarine (estrogen cream) but the wait it out method may not be working for us. Has anybody had success with a natural remedy?

*update*
I was freaking out about giving my daughter hormones but was about to give in and fill her prescription when I decided to check her adhesions one last time to see if they were any better and they were gone! With no effort at all her labia part and at first there was one tiny adhesion so I waited another day and checked again. Now there are NO adhesions. Idk what on earth happened and I will keep watching them closely but I am so happy to not have to put artificial hormones on my little girl!

bump.

The only things I know of are waiting and estrogen.

Would it be possible to see a naturopathic doctor instead of an MD?

I think we will look into a naturopath. Not sure how that works with insurance. I have some research to do.

I've heard some people use Vaseline. But if it was me I'd do the cream. I've had to use it after the birth of my oldest because I had such severe tearing, my vaginal walls and hormones were out of whack.

This is probably the point I'd go ahead and use the cream. I've heard of tea tree oil for it but I haven't researched enough to make a good decision with it. I do know that TTO can be an irritant, so I worry that it would burn down there. Right now we are just watching my daughters, but if it closes more I plan on using the cream.

I'm thinking I should use vaseline to keep them from closing again but then I need to use some kind of liner so we don't ruin our cloth diapers.

I know Burt's bees makes an ointment that looks similar to vaseline, that might work!
