King sized. Me, dh and a 4 month old. Sometimes another kid sneaks in. :)
We were in a queen. It was just my bf, who's 6'5" and me with my son from day one. Sometimes my daughter would sneak in and my bf would let the dog sleep at the foot of the bed. I would always kick him off though. We hit a rough patch and now its just me, my son and my daughter on an air mattress at my moms until we figure out what to do. As long as no one is under any influence or super tired from over working, co-sleeping is safe when its just baby and you. It's not recommended to let the other kids sleep in the bed too until baby is a little older. . My son is 17months now, so my four year old and him know how to share the bed.
Right now we have a queen + side car crib.. Its me, dh, 3mo ds..
With DD we had same bed no crib & coslept 2yrs.
We have two full size beds which are set up perpendicular to each other. DF works nights mon-thurs so on those nights Im sleeping the entire night in one full with my 4.5 yr old and 13mo twins. On the weekends I usually start off with df and move in with the kids around 4am when the babies start wanting to nurse a lot (atleast its been 4am lately).
Im 22wks with baby #4 so when she gets here it'll probably be the 3 boys in one bed and me, df, and dd in the other :)
