Ok, I'm getting really frustrated with trying to pick out a sling/wrap/carrier...I really need suggestions. *update-picked one out!*

So far, I have an Infantino front carrier (which I don't like at all) and a HotSlings sling, which just doesn't feel comfortable to me either. I'm looking at either a Moby wrap or a Ergo carrier. My daughter is currently almost two months and about 11 lbs. I'm just curious what you all have tried, and what you recommend. Some of these aren't cheap, so I want to get the right one. I'm a sahm and I also have a three year old. I REALLY need something that is comfy, doesn't hurt my back, and will leave my hands free. Thanks, ladies!

Ended up buying The Ergobaby Organic carrier in "Desert Bloom". I'm excited and can't wait to get it! Thanks for all of your help, ladies! :)

Well, I've done the moby, a woven wrap, a ringsling and an ergo. They all have their advantages. I would have say my all time fav is the ergo. It is a tad pricey but LO is 9 months, 20 lbs and still it is super comfy and super easy to get on and adjust. We used the insert until he was about 5 months or so. I know there are some others along that style, not sure on the prices. My next fav is the woven. Wraps like the moby but will do you until toddlerhood.

I like my beco
Upright carriers are more expensive but i think theyre a better long term investment
Toddlers dont do as well in slings

Mobys become less practical when babies go over, like, 17 lbs. (obviously, there will be people who disagree:)) I'd go with a woven or the Ergo/Beco/Boba/SSC type carrier.

Yep ergo for sure...the moby is nice when they are young but you need a woven or non stretchy wrap once they reach a certain weight....I have back issues and I adore my ergo I can wear it forever. You could also check out etsy, there are many sellers that make wraps and ring slings that are beautiful.

I never felt comfortable with my son in a Moby because it is so stretchy. He was born at 8lbs 7oz and grew like a weed! I have a lot of back and neck problems and love the way a woven wrap distributes weight so well. That is what I will be using this time around.

Ergo! To tell you the truth, I loved my ergo at that age, but I didn't have an action baby carrier and if I did, I'm sure that would be my favorite.

I just got it a couple weeks ago and I'm in love. Just really love it. I like it way more than the ergo and I like that it's higher, has a hood (different from the ergo) that is also a privacy shield for NIP. And it's quick and easy.

I didn't like my baby ktan or becco at all. I didn't like moby... But I like the woven dolcino wrap.

I also have a boba 3G and its pretty low on my like meter compared to Ergo and ABC

I like Moby for the first few months and then an Ergo.

I just got my freehand mei tai and I LOVE it! Sooooo much better than the infantino, and frogmama.com has them on clearance for for $54. Stay away from stretchy wraps, they are only good for little babies and yours will outgrow it soon. Woven wraps are awesome but expensive.

I used this one for my dd (now 26 months) and my foster daughter (now 9 months). My oldest daughter still likes me to strap her in sometimes around the house and it's still comfortable and she's almost 30 lbs! There's no metal or buckles to mess with. You tie the straps to fit you. I have washed it many times and it has held up well!
