33 weeks and my belly has been rock hard for a little over 3 hours... ***UPDATE***
Little Miss is not moving as much and that is with me being naughty and having had 1 cup of coffee and a rather large pepsi when at the bowling allley (no I was not bowling today).
I have been contracting for a good 10 weeks off and on (completely irregular with no dilation but real contractions mixed with BH) the entire pregnancy has been complicated (on and off bedrest in and out of the ER and L&D) plus the baby has been measuring small...she is slowly catching up she was measuring about 2 1/2 weeks behind at my last sono (we have sonos every 4 weeks since I hit 18 weeks gest. and have been to OB every 2 weeks for about 3 months now).
I am not really wanting to go to L&D again but she isn't moving and my belly wont let up...it is not the super sharp contractions more like bad menstral that wrap around my belly to my back and just wont go away.
I hit 34 weeks yesterday and spent 9 hours in L&D because contractions were about 5 minutes apart...they started like that friday night...I was stubborn and wanted to finish my CPST class (yesterday was a 2.5 hour car seat check and was the final part of class where we got our certificates) and it was at the hospital and 3 nurses weere our instructors plus 2 more nurses taking the class as well so DH and I felt that it was acceptable because if I got worse I could just go inside.
Well I checked in about 12 and around 4 they said they were going to discharge me then they came back and said they wanted to do another test (sono) to score baby's movements.
Turns out her heartrate has been dropping randomly, both with and without contractions....they ended up keeping me another 5 hours then sent me home and told me to come back this morning at 11 to do some more monitoring (non stress test) and if her heartrate continues to dip or if it becomes more frequent we are looking at the possibility of an emergency c section because her cord is either pinched, knotted, or pinned and she isn't getting quite enough oxygen...
I am scared and stressing and contracting so I am not sleeping very well. I do not want to have a c section I want to have a healthy baby with a normal delivery and not have to be seperated with a baby in NICU. :(
