My 2 week-old DD's placenta is still sitting in the freezer (as is her 4 year-old sister's!), and I need to do something with them. I know many people plant a tree or flower over them, but I live in a more northern climate and I'm afraid planting something this late in the season won't be successful.
Does anyone have any good or creative ideas?

My midwife is going to put mine in a jar with local raw honey. After a short time, it turns into a tincture and you can just spoon the honey onto toast or whatever.

Encapsulate!! That which you don't use now you can save for menopause.

Put the placentas in the ground now and wait til spring to plant where the placentas are
If you plant right after the placentas are put in the ground the soil will be too rich and kill the plants
At least thats what i was told any way
