My mom told me that bananas will help you sleep better at night if you eat one right before bed.

Have you ever heard that before?

What I've heard is that you shouldn't eat a banana in the evening at all because it takes longer to digest them. When your body is busy digesting food, your quality of sleep lacks and your body is unable to spend that time detoxing which is what it's supposed to be doing. We are actually not supposed to eat anything the last few hours before bed. Try it, it actually makes a difference.
I suppose eating a banana before bed is akin to feeding a baby rice before bed so they'll sleep longer.

If you're having trouble sleeping try a bath with EOs, a massage, anything that calms you, chances are your nervous system is out of whack.
