We live near the eastern band of Cherokee Indian reservation. An elderly woman made ds a bull nettle root teething necklace. Anyone have any experience with that type of necklace?

i've never heard of this...does the baby actually wear the necklace?  i would be afraid of him getting strangled.

It is something he would wear. He's almost 5 months and the reason I haven't put it on yet is that I'm afraid of him getting strangled or breaking it and eating the beads.

Anyone have any experience?

I've heard of that.  Nettle can be used for a lot of things!  I'm not sure of the efficacy of it though.  Lot's of great hype from the Native American community on this.
