I seemed to always struggle with pumping enough for lily to eat when I was working. I'd pump like crazy and only get a few oz

With Noah IM pumping at least three times what I was pumping for lily. I have more milk then I know what to do with.

I think mine was the same with all the kids...they were all up to 20 lbs by the time they were 5 months old.  I only tried to pump a few times & never had success.  If I gauged my milk supply by the amount I pumped, I would have honestly thought that my supply was inadequate.

This time I have way way way too much milk. My supply is not regulating at all, and I'm two and a half weeks pp. with my oldest and third, they both got fat quick. But my second was tiny. My milk never felt like this before my fourth, though. I think it's probably got something to do with hormones and things, plus I'm tandem nursing third and fourth, so that might affect things.

This time I'm pumping a bit less than last time (but we're talking 8-10 oz at a time as opposed to 12-15). But it may have to do with the fact that I'm working p/t now where as I was a Sahm with isis

Theoretically, if you're feeding on demand, it should vary from child to child so that each one gets the amount s/he needs.

Maybe you're less stressed about pumping now that you're more experienced and comfortable with it and that's contributing to an increase in milk.

Look into donating, there are lots of moms who would love to have it!

Yeah I varied with each kiddo and if you pump regularly from early on it kinda trains the body to respond to the pump better too
