im about to give up. Its been two Weeks and the oil build up is so, so SO nasty!! I don't know how much more I can take!! Its.just nasty!! I guess ill at least be able to not wash it daily if I start using shampoo again :/

Its been 3 days since I put shampoo in my hair. It looks nasty but thats also why in giving up shampoo, because at the end of the day, it always looks greasy, yet in winter I get flakes.

Whats the best way to use baking soda and vinegar to clean my hair? I know there will be a period of ultra greasy hair while it adjusts, but its already getting kinda hard to not give in to the shampoo sitting in my shower.

I make a paste with bs and kinda rub into my scalp... Not vigorously. Then I mix 1 part acv and 2 parts water and pour over my head.

I've had no flakes or greasy since the 2(ish) week adjustment period. Love it!!

It depends on your hair. Some people make a paste, but that can break your hair too. When I used to use BS and ACV I would dilute 1 tablespoon in to 1 cup of water and do it that way. I blogged about my no poo experiences.

I am jumping back into the no poo trial. I tried it a while back but just bought some Dr. Bronners Castile soap, this supposedly gets you the sudsy feeling without using real soap.

The pictures are amazing!! I was my hair daily right now because of the shampoo/oil cycle. I seriously don't want to leave thr house right now since I have not washed since Sunday or Monday.

I use that as a body soap, but I would think it's too dry for hair. If it doesn't work out for you, I've been using a shae butter poo free wash that I love. It smells amazing.
