Do you make your own soap?

Anyone have any favorite soap recipes you'd like to share? I'd like to start making my own antibacterial liquid hand soap. I've googled recipes, but I'd like to hear from you ladies. Thanks!

Oh, I don't make that kind.  The only thing I've made is almond hand soap using castile soap, water, and glycerin.

I make my soap using soapnuts, I love that it is a simple natural product!

I made breastmilk soap once. It wasn't very natural though since it used the melt and pour glycerin which has a bunch of additives.

1 mom liked this

for laundry soap i simply put them in the bag in the washer. for hand soap I boil them in water for about 30 mins. You want to make it in small amounts though(few cups) at a time as it can spoil.if you go on hazelaid.com you can buy them and learn all about their uses! I love them as they are 100% natural and dont worry about allergies as they are really a fruit not a nut at all.

I have always wanted to but using lye scares me.
