Any tips for cutting out some of the sugar/substitutes?

I always just cut the sugar (whatever it is) by like half.
I bake breads and cookies.. mostly using whole grains, natural sugar, etc. Not really going low fat or cal because, at least for us and family/friends, it is a holiday treat!

we use honey or maple syrup (pure tapped form trees) if we sweeten at all :)
We don't cut sugars or anything for the holidays. They're special so we go all in! ;)
