Look around to see if you have a natural parenting store or cloth diaper service near you where you can see the diapers and what might work for you.
If you are like me, there are may not be a store nearby (oh how I wish there would be). Join the Cuties with Cloth Booties group-they're a great resource for info on cloth diapering.
This is what I recommend too, in addition to the cloth group on here.

i wouldnt buy ebay diapers unless they are a name brand because most of them are cheap china diapers who dont work so well, but yes check out that group
