I did with Isis, just mash up some food and I mixed it with breast milk and spoon fed her. This time I'm taking a BLS approach, Hera gets soft or mashed, but not puréed, food and spoon and feeds herself.

I recommend Super Baby Food by Yaron. It rocks. Tells you how, what and when of making baby food.

I did with one child. It's pretty simple just cook food and puree.

I just fed baby off my plate but  my SIL uses one of those  baby magic bullets to make her own food.  She really likes it.

I did with both of my girls and plan to do it again with this baby. I puréed and mashed their food. We started with avocado first and went on from there.
