Today's upcycling challenge is toilet paper or paper towel rolls.

Here are some ideas for repurposing toilet paper or paper towel rolls

Have you ever repurposed a toilet paper roll? What are some ideas that you've seen to upcycle a paper towel roll?

Yes! We actually just used a toilet paper roll to make our Rudolph the Play-Doh Reindeer. :)

Toilet paper rolls and a shoe box make GREAT craft organizers. Sread peanut butter on a toilet paper roll then roll in birdseed and slip over a branch or pole

1 mom liked this

I just used them for packing my shot glasses. You can fit one in each end and it's nice and snug. None broke. Also - we stuff them with hay and put them in the rabbits cage - he LOVES them!

Very cute-but we don't use toilet paper or paper towels, so no empty rolls. Maybe I can get some from Mom. That wreath would take a lot!!

I always save them for crafts. I just used a bunch as ornament holders during a handprint craft I taught my daughter's class. They held up the ornaments as the paint dried. The star on our Christmas tree is partly made from a paper towel roll. We painted it like a candy cane and it is the part that slips over the top of the tree. Then we crafted the star and hot glued it to the paper towel roll. It was an easy craft we did a few years back but I love it and don't want to replace the topper anytime soon:)
