Natural Birth & Parenting Upcycling Challenge - Cans

Posted by   + Show Post

Today's challenge is cans. Soup cans, soda cans, tuna cans, any other cans

Here are some ideas to upcycle cans:

Have you ever re-used cans? What are some ways you've seen to repurpose cans?

I've used metal coffee cans for storing puzzles and little toys

I used them as ashtrays WHEN I smoked...
    I don't smoke anymore!

    I recycle, and don't reuse, because I'm afraid I'll cut myself up,lol

I don't think I've ever used tin cans for anything to repurpose but I do recycle them!  I love some of these ideas.  Will have to put them to good use!

I use a tuna can as a biscuit cutter. Soup cans with holes punched in them as luminaries. I even once made a wall clock with a tuna can as the center.

Have made tiny luminaries, used to cut biscuit/cookie dough, and the ones with plastic lids for storing craft bits

I save cans to empty grease/fat into from when I make meats, then I stick the "fat can" into the freezer and on trash day, throw it out! Then the grease/fat doesn't go down the drain or into the yard, or stink up the house.

I use cans to hold my hot grease from cooking.

I can't say I've reused these types of cans but neat ideas.
