For EBF mamas of current and past babies, how long did it take you to get your period?

DH is getting a vasectomy on Friday and I'm terrified I'm pregnant (obviously don't want more babies!). I got theMirena after 4 yo was born so I never got my period until it was removed.

With my youngest, I was 26 months post partum when I got first af. With my third, I was 19 months pp . With my first and second, it was a month after weaning, at 15 months and the other at 24 months.

From what other moms say, anything between 6 weeks pp and 3 years pp is "normal". If you're having sex and have all your pieces-parts there is always a chance you'll get pregnant.

For me, 9 weeks.

I've heard anywhere from 6 weeks to 2-3 years though... really depends on your body.

1 mom liked this

My daughter is almost 15 months & I've yet to have a period. I test every month or so just to make sure I don't end up on "I didn't know I was pregnant" lol.
