I am going to be having my first water birth at home and want to know where I can buy a birthing tub? Is there a website I can visit? No one I know has giving birth outside of a hospital which means I am lone ranger on finding out all these things. If someone could point me in the right direction, that would be great! :)

Try contacting your local midwives and / or free-standing birthing centers. (My midwife has a big blow-up one she rents out).
The midwife we had planned on using if we had a second baby, rented out tubs for her homebirths.
Many moms I know use http://www.inhishands.com/

You can buy them inexpensively at inhishands.com, preciousarrows.com or other homebirth supply websites.
Try contacting a local doula or midwife - many own several tubs and hire them out.
Did you hire a midwife? Sometimes a tub is included in her fee or she may know someone who rents them if she doesn't.
where is the one for $30? I only see the ones for hundreds of dollars....
(I need a birthing pool, too... I don't have a midwife, and my doula does not have one)
Thank you ladies! I am using a midwife so if I don't find one before I speak with her again, I will ask her if she rents them out.

There is one at preciousarrows.com that is $32.00 that I think she is talking about if you are looking for an inexpensive tub. I just looked! :)
