I had a breast reduction about 6 years ago. My concern is will I not be able to breastfeed. Does anyone here have any success stories?

Not me, but I highly recommend Diana West's website and books!

I have had 3 babies, I am pregnant with my 4th. With my first, I was so unsure of myself and I had a lot of "helpful advice" from my large family of inlaws. I was able to BF w/ suplimentaion all 3 times, with better sucess with each one. Get support now. Don't wait until you're at your wits end. Know that ANY breastmilk you give your baby is better than none. Educate yourself as much as possible. I just got Diana West's book for this new baby. I wish I had it 6 years ago when I was expecting my 1st. Good luck!

My Aunt breastfed her daughter after breast reduction (like 19 years ago). I don't think it was exclusive though, she supplemented.

I think as long as your nipple wasn't detached you should have no problem. It might take a little longer to get your supply up, but just nurse as much as you can and don't use a bottle or paci until you've got nursing down had your supply stable :)
